Sass de Stria (Sasso della Strega). The name recalls ancient legends of the Dolomites, which tell of this peak as the home of a witch. I was born in 1972 and I live in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites.
In addition to these wonderful mountains, I have explored and photographed other extraordinary peaks around the world, from Nepal to Pakistan, from Patagonia to remote Svalbard.
My grandfather of the same name was one of the pioneers of photography in Cortina but it was my passion for the mountains that brought me to photography.
Since 2006 I have been working as a professional photographer, telling the unique beauty of these mountains through photography.
