Snow is pure magic, a living material in constant metamorphosis. It can enchant us with an immaculate blanket, or, as in this case, hypnotize us with a weave of lines and shapes that seem to dance. The wind, together with light and shadow, transforms snow into an ephemeral canvas, a natural work of art reserved for a few, that exists only for a moment, revealed only to those who have the privilege of noticing it.

GIUSEPPE GHEDINA PHOTOGRAPHER
I was born in 1972 and I live in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites.
In addition to these wonderful mountains, I have explored and photographed other extraordinary peaks around the world, from Nepal to Pakistan, from Patagonia to remote Svalbard.
My grandfather of the same name was one of the pioneers of photography in Cortina but it was my passion for the mountains that brought me to photography.
Since 2006 I have been working as a professional photographer, telling the unique beauty of these mountains through photography.
