From the forest, the branches of a Swiss pine naturally frame Mount Averau (Dolomites). Their structure, barely perceptible and intentionally blurred, creates a delicate natural backdrop that adds depth to the composition. This play of planes guides the observer's gaze towards the main subject, which emerges with clarity and contrast, dominating the scene.

GIUSEPPE GHEDINA PHOTOGRAPHER
I was born in 1972 and I live in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites.
In addition to these wonderful mountains, I have explored and photographed other extraordinary peaks around the world, from Nepal to Pakistan, from Patagonia to remote Svalbard.
My grandfather of the same name was one of the pioneers of photography in Cortina but it was my passion for the mountains that brought me to photography.
Since 2006 I have been working as a professional photographer, telling the unique beauty of these mountains through photography.
